Care, down
to the detail.

Maintenance & service

Oil service, fluid care, scheduled maintenance and inspections planned around your BMW.

Diagnostics & repair

Warning lights, new noises or a change in how it drives — starting with a conversation and a diagnostic plan.

Brakes & suspension

Braking concerns, ride quality, uneven tire wear and changes in steering or handling.

Cooling & air conditioning

Overheating, coolant leaks, temperature warnings and A/C that isn’t keeping up with Houston summers.

Pre-purchase inspection

Thinking of buying a BMW? Know its condition and service needs before you commit.

What BMW owners
ask about.

Oil leaks

Valve cover, oil filter housing and oil pan gaskets

A burning-oil smell or drips under the car? Gasket leaks are common with age and worth catching early.

Cooling system

Electric water pumps, thermostats and expansion tanks

Overheating warnings in Houston traffic often start here.

VANOS & timing

Variable valve timing; N20/N26 timing chain guides

A rattle at start-up, rough idle or timing-related fault codes.

Fuel system

N54 high-pressure fuel pump and injectors

Long cranking, misfires or a reduced-power warning.

Charge pipes & boost leaks

Turbocharged N54, N55 and some B58 engines

A loud pop followed by sudden power loss is often a cracked plastic charge pipe.

Suspension & steering

Control arm bushings, thrust arms and dampers

Clunks over bumps, wandering on the highway or uneven tire wear.

Considered.
At every step.

Start with the driver.

The way you use your car, what you’re noticing, and what you want from the visit shape the conversation.

Make the work clear.

Know what needs attention, why it matters, and which options fit your priorities before deciding.

Respect the details.

A focus on the character and condition that make your BMW worth caring for.

Good to
know.

Do I have to use the dealer to keep my BMW warranty?

Generally, no. Under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer can’t void your warranty or deny coverage just because maintenance was done by an independent shop.

Follow the factory maintenance schedule and keep your records. Repairs covered by the warranty itself are still handled by the dealer.

Are you affiliated with a manufacturer?

Houston Auto Pros is an independent European automotive shop with no manufacturer affiliation.

What happens after I send a request?

A request isn’t a confirmed booking. The shop reviews it and contacts you to confirm a time and talk through what your car needs.
