Care, down
to the detail.

Maintenance & service

Oil service, fluid care, scheduled maintenance and inspections planned around your Mercedes-Benz.

Diagnostics & repair

Warning lights, new noises or a change in how it drives — starting with a conversation and a diagnostic plan.

Brakes & suspension

Braking concerns, ride quality, uneven tire wear and changes in steering or handling.

Cooling & air conditioning

Overheating, coolant leaks, temperature warnings and A/C that isn’t keeping up with Houston summers.

Pre-purchase inspection

Thinking of buying a Mercedes-Benz? Know its condition and service needs before you commit.

What Mercedes-Benz
owners ask about.

Airmatic air suspension

S-Class, E-Class, GL/GLS and more

A car sitting low after it’s been parked, or a suspension warning on the dash.

Balance shaft & timing

M272 V6 and M273 V8 engines, around 2005–2008

Check-engine codes for camshaft and crankshaft correlation.

7G-Tronic transmission

722.9 conductor plate and valve body

Harsh shifts, limp mode or speed-sensor faults.

Oil leaks & oil coolers

Oil cooler and filter-housing seals on many V6 and V8 engines

An oil smell under the hood or drips beneath the engine.

SBC brakes

W211 E-Class and R230 SL

Sensotronic brake warnings need careful diagnosis.

Electrical & battery

Batteries, sensors and control modules

Houston heat shortens battery life, and low voltage can trigger a cascade of warnings.

Considered.
At every step.

Start with the driver.

The way you use your car, what you’re noticing, and what you want from the visit shape the conversation.

Make the work clear.

Know what needs attention, why it matters, and which options fit your priorities before deciding.

Respect the details.

A focus on the character and condition that make your Mercedes-Benz worth caring for.

Good to
know.

Do I have to use the dealer to keep my Mercedes-Benz warranty?

Generally, no. Under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer can’t void your warranty or deny coverage just because maintenance was done by an independent shop.

Follow the factory maintenance schedule and keep your records. Repairs covered by the warranty itself are still handled by the dealer.

Are you affiliated with a manufacturer?

Houston Auto Pros is an independent European automotive shop with no manufacturer affiliation.

What happens after I send a request?

A request isn’t a confirmed booking. The shop reviews it and contacts you to confirm a time and talk through what your car needs.
